Hi there,(posted 8216 days ago)Yeah these are distressing. There's not a lot you can do to stop them threatening it but there is a lot you can - and should - do once they go ahead with it. You should also prepare as much in advance as you can because SID's don't leave you much time to respond.
So you should:
1. Read the material on how to deal with SIDs in this site's Do's and Don'ts section at: http://www.home-repo.org/dos/statdemand.htm
2. Get guidance notes and the response forms from the court before you receive the SID if possible - this so you know in good time where to go to deliver your response and what answers you are going to provide.
3. Post to this board using normal text not block capitals. Normal text is easier to read!
