Which documents/proof should I ask for.

I have just started dealing with The Mortgage Corporation for alleged shortfall and I'm about to respond to their I&E form by returning it with a request for proof. Can anyone tell me which docs. specifically I should be asking for so I don't shoot myself in the foot!! Thanks in advance!! Mark
