I have recently served a Sarn on National Home Loans/Paragon. They have sent a form back for me to fill in asking for evidence of identity etc. That part is OK, I understand the need to identify whoi I am and what info I require. What I dont like or understand is the declaration at the bottom of the form which I have to sign. It reads as follows -(posted 8243 days ago)I ................. certify that the information given on this application form to the Paragon Group of Companies is true. I understand that it is necessary for the company to confirm my identity and it may be necessary to obtain more detailed information in order to locate the correct data.
There is also a note underneath this stating -
The period of 40 days in which the organisation must respond will not commence until it is satisfied upon these matters.
Do I have to sign? If I dont sign, are they entitled to ignore my request for info?
Please help.
