I'm going to be a party pooper. It's a great portrait, but I just don't think it gains from the 'Zone' stencil. As a record of him sitting on that exact bench, fair enough, but the formality of the framing and his pose make me feel there should be something extra to get from the juxtaposition, and I'm baffled.(posted 8267 days ago)There again, I've never read Burroughs.
