Response to What shoul deeds look like?

from Nigel Green (nijgreen@btinternet.com)
Hi Kate

The area that Wendy (above response) refers to is our response page: Click on Q&A page and look for "Having trouble with Eagle Star or their Solicitors? or have they not signed your deeds!" read that page it may well answer some of your questions on should the deeds have the lenders signatures? But Further; Rule 88 of the County Court Rules 2001 says that the lender has to prove the validity of any Motgage / Deeds before the court, and has to comply with statute (Law) it is not up to you to prove or disprove any mortgage etc, write to the lender and ask them for a "certified copies" signed and stamped by them of the appropriate documents i.e. Mortgage Deeds any application forms, terms and conditions, contracts, and statement of account, and any or all of the file (you may have to pay for photcopying) look at the above mentioned page or e-mail direct if you need any help Regards Nigel Green
