Micheal;(posted 8333 days ago)Based on my limited test of 120 film, Pan F has more grain than TMX and XP2. Pan F is disadvantged compared with TMX ( and I would also assume Delta 100) in grain or speed. All of these tests were developed with Ethol TEC (not the xp2), which I no longer use. Ethol stopped making TEC in the 2 solution powder formulation, and only makes 4 oz bottles of the liquid concentrate. The old 2 solution formula was extremely economical to use, compared to Technidol, and the stock solutions lasted for 2-3 years. A few people who tried the concentrate with Tech Pan, based on my recommendation, got lousy results, so I never switched.
