Response to Gainer's HC-110P, HC-110PP

Sodium carbonate is also the "PH Plus" sold cheaply for swimming pool use. Anyway, I tried his paper developer and was not impressed. It was very low in activity and took 3 to 5 minutes to get a decent image. I think I tried it with Oriental and Ilford VC RC papers. It was very hard to get a good Dmax. The film version might have possibilities, but I'm not sure what advantage it would offer over XTOL, HC-110, or good 'ol D-76.
