Response to recordings without sound

then explain why my 1ghz t-bird (which is basically athlon) with a geforce2 mx has to frameskip ~ FS 4 on stun runner? (with midas 22050 sound, no stretch, MAME32 b13, no triplebuffer)

or is this normal for a processor like this ??
