Yes, I saw abandoned buildings. I also saw "ghostly" double exposed images of figures - that, I guess, represent things in the memory or psyche of the photographer, or perhaps have some kind of totemic significance. I also noticed that the shots are generally well-exposed, printed, etc. Perhaps you are convinced of their artistic merit, but really, pictures of ghostly figures in abandoned buildings has become a mini-genre. It's indulgent, it's lazy, it's hackneyed, and after having seen many of examples it's really dull. Sorry to be harsh, but telling me that I'm deficient because I think the work is boring and unoriginal, is a bit off key. I promise you that if you visit just about any undergraduate photography program in the US, you'll find someone who's making photograph of figures (either ghostly or not) in abandoned buildings (in either rural or urban settings) in order to express something or other about how they're tormented by loss.
