Response to SARN info going back how many years?

from Eleanor Scott (eleanor.scott@btinternet.com)
If the information doesn't go back as far as your mortgage was taken out, then the lender has probably converted the whole thing to fiche, and deleted database records and possibly disposed of other original docs or archived them where it can't find them (eg in a massive, disorganised warehouse). The lender *might* give you copies of this fiched material, but it doesn't have to - but it *will* have to provide it from October 2001, under the DPA.

You have to ask yourself, why would a lender fiche a mortgage account file? It's not exactly what the CPS would do to evidence they were planning to go to court with, is it?
