how do I become a smoke jumper??

I've been trying to find info on smoke jumping, and I've found alot but nothing useful like how to get started. I'm going to be moving to sandpoint Id. from Alaska and am interested in going to work for the forestry dept. I like hard work and nothing beats the wilderness, I know smoke jumping is for me. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Jason Felts
