Dear Mr. Jedlicka,(posted 8515 days ago)one cannot say that REFINAL is better than RODINAL. It depends what you want. First of all the two developers are very different. REFINAL is a Powder and for machine processing. It can be replenished. RODINAL on the other hand is a liquid concentrate and for one shot use. REFINAL gives fine grain, RODINAL does produce very sharp negatives and since it can be diluted up to 1 + 100 it can be used for compensating the motive contrast. Regarding your second question, it is possible to process with a higher temperature than 20°C. As far as I know there is no trick or factor where you could say if I have time x with 20°C than I have to multiply this time with factor x and I have the processing time for a higher or lower temperature.
