Citibank- is amount owing correct

Our property was sold Mar 95 the statement of account prepared by Solicitors Wood Glaister showed amount of debt to be £14000.We have never been able to get a breakdown of this amount. In Mar 2000 we received a copy of a Citibank computer printout from PSOC Solicitors Eastman showing balance as at Mar 95 to be £6000. When taking out mortgage in Jan 90 we paid for a MIG which we were told would cover us for any Shortfall. Any comments welcomed.
