I think this is referring to a court case coming up in Leeds County Court. An unnamed ex borrower is fighting the shortfall claim against him using the Limitation Act, claiming that the lender has 6 not 12 years in which to pursue for the alleged 'debt' (see under Repossession, 6/12 year rule, this web site).
