Yes, bbh is right that you may have to remove the nvram\sonicwi3.nv file before you record with later versions of mame (dos and windows) to get them to playback fine afterwords.(posted 9103 days ago)bbh: it might be that the FM settings in mame.cfg may need to be changed to play the m36b8 recording back correctly. I remmeber i had a similar problem with bubbles neogeo shooter recording. I can't look at my home computer now but i bet you're having an FM setting problem (or possibly but unlikely a cfg removal since i always remove cfg and nvram before playing back via script.)
