Response to Eleni in the Late Afternoon

I really like this portrait. The homely plaid pattern of her shirt contrasts with its compelling tautness, which seems to warn of the impending popping of a button or two. Though there may not be any, I still see a thin shining layer of perspiration on her face together with a fetching gaze and beautiful neck. I think the lighting and exposure and composition is beautiful. The subdued and out of focus colors of the background are excellent. Very good work!
