I agree, but this has been brought up before here. The main point was that this way more people can get participated here, also sometimes one of the top 3 records doesn't playback for you.(posted 9147 days ago)But what if 500000 emulation friends want to submit at Galaga...That's not going to happen, many people do have standards of some degree when submitting inps.
Nevertheless top 5 scores only would be good. When it comes to leaderboard scores, it's stupid that people get lb points from very poor scores, what's the point of that kind of leaderboard. But that's another issue.
