Response to Three Images

from Matt Moran (mattm@enteract.com)
The first two images are excellent. ("French Lieutenant's Woman" is the title of a 1981 movie. I've never seen the movie so I can't really say if there is a connection between your picture and the movie, or if you just liked the title.) The first image is my favorite of the three, but that may be because of the inherent sexuality of the image.

Please don't take this personally, but the only thing remarkable about the second image is that the horizon is flat ( which I assume is the result of cropping and tilting at print time ). This picture doesn't really tell us anything about the people in it, perhaps because the face is not visible, and the posture is not expressive. I don't want to sound too critical. If I knew the person on the boat, I'd be glad to have that picture on my wall. But I'd be glad to have either of the first two pictures on my wall, even though I've never met the subjects. Great shots.
