Response to Interesting Light

Sorry Ash, the light and the situation may be interesting, but your capture of it is not. The dead-centre placement of your subject, the cut-off shadow which might have added some dynamics to the image, and all the background clutter - panels, picture, blanket - doesn4t lift this above the standard family album snapshot - except it4s darker. A tighter crop might have helped, but looking into the back of somebodys head is not very interesting. When looking at the picture, I keep wanting to move to the right to see his face in profile and his hand more clearly outlined against the light.
