It's probably worth pointing out that Kodachrome was developed from an investigation into the stain produced by pyrogallol based developers, which were the standard developer for film until smaller film formats became more common. Modern chromogenic film is a further development in this lineage.(posted 8661 days ago)I must admit I enjoy experimenting with traditional film and staining developers, but I've also seen some really excellent results using the lack and white chromogenic films.
