Response to mama's boy

Beautiful composition. Not sure what to think of the little bright triangle in the lower left; I almost wish it wasn't there (Tom said it best about one of my posts, Kid/Shovel, "...unimportant little light spots whispering in my (visual) ear..."), but the work is successful in my book. The arm detail is cool, but obviously the hand is the focal point. I notice also that you have an uncluttered background which is nice. I seem to always find cluttered backgrounds. Nice work.
