Response to Dig Dug setting question

Hmm I4m no an expert on the game Dig Dug, but i Know that the game is so hard in the later levels, that there are only a few (correct me if I4m wrong folks) that have managed to reach stage 255 on that game..wich i think is the kill screan. (correct me again please)

I understand that Dig Dug takes time to watch (at least when you going for the WR and start eating the dirt on every level!) but I don4t think there are to many extras in the game.. atleast not for a normal player :)
