I just thought people would like to know of an email I received today from "ReduceDebt@okko.fsnet.co.uk". The mail is sent to an undisclosed list, but offers you the chance to reduce your debts - all you have to do is visit a website and complete the details.(posted 8730 days ago)The URL offers no clue as to the identity of the company, and all the page contents have are fields for your name, address, phone number and email address and total amount of debt owed and the submit button. There is nothing anywhere to say who these people are.
Although the Home Repossession Page is here for people to get help and advice, it is no secret that lenders and debt collection agencies also visit the site, so if you get any emails from "ReduceDebt@okko.fsnet.co.uk", please be very careful if you decide to answer their advert.
