This was a human interest shot I took of a local woman recovering from cancer. There was a benefit bicycle ride held to raise money for her. I've posted a story about her . As far as a "connection" between her and me; I think it tells the story with the hat covering the hairless head, warm jacket, and candid smile on her face.
The shot was taken with a 80-200/2.8L Canon zoom at the long end with a big aperture.
