I can't answer your question for you, but I can tell you that your ideas about "professionalism" seem a bit muddled. To paraphrase Forrest Gump, "Professional is as professional does." The equipment you use is unimportant as long as it gets the job done. The amount of grain in the print doesn't matter as long as the image works. You're attaching too much importance to what are essentially secondary issues.(posted 8746 days ago)I also think you overestimate how much you have to spend to have a very capable 35mm system. If you have the skills to effectively use old, manual cameras, there are plenty of bargains out there.
