I've figured out a lot of tricks to my XL-1 but I'm still stuck on this one- the mini headphone out on the canon, for all intents and purposes, sucks. If I crank it all the way, it distorts the output, and if I don't, it's not loud enough. I'm using a good set of AKG headphones but they're no help if I can't monitor my audio well. I'm wondering if a) I need a headphone set that amplifies the audio more so that it can be heard loud and clear or b) the only way is to go from the mini jack to a mixer / amp and then to headphones. Does anyone have tips on this? Someone recommended the Sony NC-20 headphones but they couldn't confirm if they'd solve my problems. Anyone have a working solution?(posted 8759 days ago)thanks
