Response to What is the scenario of this photo?

from Lewis (I am not a number) Lang (Lewisvisn@aol.com)
Sorry, I get a feeling of disinterest and borderline boredom from the partcipants in this photograph, w/c may or may not be the relationship of its participants (other than the possible lesbian/fetish overtones). I like it, its intrigueing though it doesn't seem to make any overt or covert statement to me. Did you know what you were trying to convey through this photograph beyond its subect matter/elements? Would you care to tell us why you made the photograph and/or what you were trying to express through this photograph? This photograph is "almost moody" - its really doesn't raise any questions to me as far as its scenario is concerned though I do like looking at it more for thinking about how it can be improved since you start with strong elements that sort of fizzle out for me in the acting/mood department. Technically this and your other "similaresque" photo are excellent and I too would be curious as to the technical data stuff (along with the reason you made this and what you were trying to show or even hint at beyond just the evident subject matter/actions). Medium format Rollei/Hasselblad shot near wide open and sepia toned in either real life or photoshop. People mention Helmut Newton, is he one of your influences? What and/or who (and why? of course)) inspired you to make this (and the other) shot. Enquiring minds
