I like your picture Jeff! Is it in front of the church in Oaxaca, Mexico?(posted 8846 days ago)Regarding the topic here: I like to use fast film and my EF 100-300. This lens let me get close (optically), and it doesn't seem very large, i.e., does not draw attention. It's a bit slow, but the 400- 800 ASA outdors helps that. If I need to get closer still, then I allways mimic the question "is it ok if I take a picture?", which is easy to do in any "language".
