Response to Matrox RT2000 - Real time for $1,295 list????

I have the same problem as you, I was thinking about getting the FAST DV Master Pro when I heard about RT2000. It seems like a good deal with its 300 Realtime EFX. I also thought about the new Mac G4 500 since I have to get a completely new system anyway. I spoke to a guy from InSync and he sugested to wait for the RT2000. I think it wont be released until the beginning of 2000 though and that is driving me mad.
