buying contracts from lender

Does anyone know of any sites where I can information on buying from a lender. Ihave a house near me that the lender says it can sell me the contract before forclosure. The house has been vacant about a year and a half. I cant find the owner and they hav'nt been able to either. so if you know any sites out there that would have any information on this would be very helpful. All the sites I've found deal with buying after the house is repossed. Thanks
