I think you are horribly mistaken. The DV camera's film at 60 fields per second, not frames. There are 2 fields in video per every frame in film. Video captures an image every 1/60th per second, each field is half resolution, so when combined to for 30frames per second (fps) it forms a full resolution image. Some other DV camera's option a full frame movie mode which captures 30 full resolution frames per second to deliver a true 30frames per second. Hope this helps.(posted 9196 days ago)
