Thanks for visiting the forum.

In regards to your question, that one is a bit of a mystery to me. There are however a few things that may have caused this....

You say that the K2500S was idle when this lockup occured but, there have been circumstances when a corrupt file causes a lockup. Did you have any samples, programs or sequences loaded in? Also, is your K2500S MIDI'ed up to something else? Certainly some strange incoming MIDI data could have caused the problem.

Needless to say, unless this re-occurs I don't think you have anything to worry about. Kurzweil keyboards are much like computers and occassionally a hard reset clears everything up.
